Senior Director, Strategy and Planning

As a strategic thinker for businesses of all sizes, Dan believes that the best brands are built on a common understanding and common cause shared by businesses and their customers. Wielding that belief, he has helped icons like NASDAQ, Intel, Sony and Nordstrom move from marketing to their audiences, to relating to them at every stage of the brand experience. By staying curious, asking questions and challenging the convention, he helps business leaders align on bold brand directions, while helping marketing, sales, and service teams deliver on behalf of their customers. In the summer, Dan has been spotted fishing from a kayak in one of the many rivers around Portland; but come winter, it’s all about fresh powder on Mt. Hood. Closer to home, he likes to geek out on evolution—organic and technological. Or he might take his big, goofy German Shepherd out to prowl the city’s neighborhoods in search the perfect street fair or mini-taco.
